Film plans and a VLT calculator
Plan the film for every window once, and let the numbers work themselves out.
- On any window-tint ticket or quote, pick the film once and a shade for each window. Your tech sees the film name in huge letters with the shade for every window
- The final VLT is worked out for you: 20% film on 25% glass is 5%
- Only the windows you are selling show up. Tell Apexed which windows each service covers, and a front-two-windows job offers only the front doors
- Mark any window as Not tinting, and the plan still shows the whole car
- The warranty fills itself in from the plan, with the in-stock roll for each window already chosen
- A VLT calculator for the counter: meter the glass, pick the film, see the final VLT. Or work backwards from the VLT the customer wants to the film that gets closest, with a warning if your state’s legal minimum is crossed
